Why do I need to send you documents for an online application?

As a responsible lender, it's important we complete thorough checks during the application stage. Regardless of whether you have been our customer for a day or a few years, we must check you are who you say you are. Sometimes our initial checks don't provide us with enough information and there will be further things we need to check, such as where you live.

Can someone apply on my behalf?

No, we don't allow this sorry. Some lenders offer a guarantor loan, whereby you can apply for a loan and agree with a friend or family member that they will act as a guarantor (i.e. they will make repayments if for any reason you are unable to do so).

We will need a valid telephone number for your employer and picture of your most recent payslip or a copy of your bank statement showing your most recent wage payment. If we ask you for your payslip or bank statement, please ensure the picture is clear, legible and unedited. If we can't see the whole payslip or statement, we will likely ask you to send this again which will slow down your application.

If we ask you for a payslip or bank statement, please check:

  • It matches your frequency of wage i.e. if you are paid weekly, it is dated within the last 7 days (If this doesn't match, we may ask you to explain the discrepancy)
  • Sent within 7 days of your application
  • Fully visible in one picture
  • An email attachment, not a link

The best way to send is to reply to the email we sent you when you applied.
