How payday loans could help you

Monday, August 17th, 2009

There may be reports of the recession easing, but many people are still struggling to make their salary last all month. If something unexpected crops up, it can be even harder. And not all loans are about luxury spending. Many people need a cash advance just to cover basic items.

If you need a helping hand until you next get paid, payday loans might well be the answer. And if you take out one of the many payday loans available, you certainly won’t be alone - between August 2007 and June last year, the number of payday loans made in the UK grew by over 130%.

There are many things payday loands are not: they aren’t a permanent solution to all your financial problems, nor a source of continuous credit. But what they can do is tide you over until the next pay cheque if you have an urgent need for short-term funds. That’s why payday loans tend to be smaller than other kinds of advances.

Regrettably, not all providers of payday loans enjoy the best of reputations. At www.247Moneybox.com, with our focus on responsible lending, we only lend to customers what we know they can affordably repay. In accordance with the law, we advertise our rates and APR clearly on our website.

If you are approved for the loan - and the online application only takes a few minutes - we are able to send you the money very quickly.

247Moneybox.com’s tips for saving money on your phone and mobile bills

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Today we will be looking at how you can save yourself a bundle on your phone and mobile bills; we find our customers can help their finances greatly if they adopt a more prudent structure to their finances in conjunction with one of our payday loans.

So how do you save money on your phone bills? The first thing you must do is work out the type of user you are and try and build a phone profile; do you use your landline a lot or your mobile, what do you mainly use your mobile for, texts or calls?

When you know what kind of user you are then its time to get a tariff and phone line which is adapted to you. In particular it may also be useful to find out what numbers you regularly call, and whether you mostly call other mobiles or landlines. Next, the best idea would be to go to a price comparison website and compare the main phone companies; often these comparison websites allow you to put in personal information about how many calls you make per week and to what phones, which will ensure you get the right service for you.

If you rarely use your phone - perhaps you have one for the internet or to receive calls - then it might be time you thought about getting the lowest rate possible for your type of usage. We’ve found that the best option is to look at the Post Office, as they offer the cheapest line we could find and it’s perfect for those who infrequently use their phone.

Need a little injection of cash to help you cover those urgent bills until your next payday? If so, then it might be time to consider taking out a payday loan. Here at www.247Moneybox.com, we can offer you cash quickly - without the hassle of paperwork, thanks to a simple online application form - so don’t let your finances get out of hand or threaten you with being evicted or losing your utilities for a period of time.

Bridge the payday gap with cash loans

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Times are still tight for many of us, even if you have a job, and unfortunately sometimes a pay cheque runs out well before it’s meant to, leaving you high and dry. If it happens to you, overdrafts can be prohibitively expensive. You could use a credit card, but what you really need is money in your bank account to draw on. Cash loans can be the solution if you have an urgent need for relatively modest, short-term funds to tide you over.

If that’s your situation, make www.247Moneybox.com your first port of call. Unlike other providers of cash loans, we are committed to responsible lending. We don’t want people to have larger cash loans than they can comfortably afford to repay.

Just spend a few minutes applying online - there is typically not a piece of paperwork in sight - and you’ll usually get a decision the same day. If you’re approved, the cash loan will be credited to your account as quickly as possible.

High-street lenders face further pressure to ease up lending

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

Further pressure has been levelled at high street banks to encourage them to lend more and get the economy back on the road to recovery, reports The Times online. The Bank of England threatened to cut the rate it pays to high street lenders. The Governor of the Bank of England, Mervyn King, said he was considering cutting the interest the Bank pays on cash held by the banks in its reserve accounts.

The amount in these reserve accounts has increased substantially in the last year from £90.6 billion at the end of 2008 to around £157 billion in the first half of this year. King also forecasted more gloomy news, stating that the recovery would be ’slow and protracted’, and that consumers will feel the fallout for years to come.

This comes at a time when the bank stunned many by injecting £50 billion into the economy to prevent a slowdown. King states that the British economy had shrunk much quicker and deeper than his team had predicted and requires ‘robust growth’ to put it on a stable footing.

With this there has been news of rising unemployment, which had jumped to a 14-year high of 2.43 million in the last three months. King highlighted the significant role banks would have in stimulating a recovery, as growth would continue to be curbed unless banks started lending again. Lending to non-financial corporations slumped by a record £14.7 billion between May and June this year, despite the bank’s measures to unclog the credit markets via quantitative easing.

Do you need a loan? Need a little quantitative easing of your own? Well, look no further than a payday loan from us here at www.247Moneybox.com. We work to tailor loan solutions to people so they can cover those urgent expenses until the next pay cheque arrives. So don’t be worried about unpaid bills any longer - visit our website and fill out an application form now!

Online shopping, a great way to save money this month

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

For today’s blog we will look at some great ways to save you some money this month. Usually when a customer borrows from us we offer them some advice on how to reduce their expenses, which helps their payday loan be more effective. Here are a few ideas that could save you some money and help your finances get back into the black.

Today’s tip is to go online for your weekly grocery shop. Thousands of people use online shopping to get their regular groceries and you try it - most of the main supermarkets offer online shopping so you won’t have to switch your chain, and if you are on a points system with them you may be able to keep this up too.

Shopping online will make financial sense; the main supermarkets generally give you the option of comparing an item with the other items on that shelf, letting you compare similar products. Sometimes a prompt is given to you to ’see a cheaper alternative’. All the deals in the store should be on the website so you aren’t missing out on any deals. Often by shopping online you can find new deals that you would not find in-store.

Shopping online will allow you to choose the food you need in a relaxing environment: your front room. By not being in-store, you won’t be under any pressure from influential advertising or be swayed by an atmosphere that encourages you to buy more. By buying online you’re more likely to keep to what you need to buy and less likely to pick up those special treats, keeping your cost down. And of course you don’t have to deal with long queues at the check-out!

The only downside would be the delivery fees - these are usually around £4.50 from the major supermarkets, but are usually covered by the savings you make from finding new deals online.

Do you need an injection of cash to sort out your finances this month? If so, perhaps it’s time you thought about taking out a payday loan with us here at www.247Moneybox.com. We offer competitive loans and can tailor a loan solution to cover your urgent cash requirements. So don’t delay further, fill out an application form today!

Ofgem accuses energy suppliers of ‘unjustified price differences’

Monday, August 10th, 2009

Could you be saving money on your utility bills in the next couple of weeks? Well, more than 2 million rural households will see their electricity prices fall after Ofgem has cracked down on ‘unjustified price differences’ in the UK energy market, reports Times Online.

Following findings from the regulator’s reports, it has been decided that some people are being charged too much and are generally receiving bad service from the main power suppliers. In particular, 2 million people have not been able to connect to Britain’s gas network, leading to their not being able to qualify for the dual fuel bills offer which could get them cheaper electricity.

Furthermore, energy suppliers have been found to be treating some classes of customers worse than others; suppliers will have to provide annual statements telling households how much energy has been used and that it is viable that they can change suppliers. Proposals have been made to make tariffs simpler for customers, making comparison with other providers easy.

The poorer members of society have often received the toughest deals and a ban on ‘unjustified pricing’ will help them from being discriminated against. Ed Milliband the energy and climate secretary has said that ‘we need regulation to protect consumers and that is why I welcome the Ofgem proposals’.

Are you finding that your utility bills are going to be too much for you this month? Worried you might face having your utilities turned off if you don’t pay in time? If so, it sounds like you may benefit from a payday loan from us here at www.247Moneybox.com, as we can offer you fast cash to cover those monthly expenses that are too much for you. So apply today and see if we can help you with a loan to ensure that you don’t face your gas, electricity or water being shut off.

Payday loans to tide you over

Monday, August 10th, 2009

A domestic emergency like a broken boiler or unforeseen costly car expenses can throw the best-laid financial plan awry. There are times when we all need a bit extra to keep us going until next month’s payday.

If you need cash in a hurry, credit cards and other forms of cash advances are costly and not always appropriate. Unauthorised overdrafts for example can be hugely expensive. But payday loans can bridge the gap. Payday loans are not designed to be used all the time as a second income, but they are fast, convenient and hassle-free.

The other great thing about payday loans is that there is no time-consuming paperwork. Just a few minutes with our online application form and the money can be with you very quickly.

At www.247Moneybox.com, we’re committed to responsible lending. That means, for example, not giving more than one of our payday loans to a borrower at one time. And we only offer payday loans to people who are employed, or who have a regular income. Our payday loans are intended to be repaid within a month, so debts don’t stack up.

England to struggle without talismanic Flintoff or solid Prior for the fourth test at Headingly this morning

Friday, August 7th, 2009

England’s Ashes preparation for the crucial 4th test today have been thrown into disarray following two big names being ruled out of the side after short notice.

Matthew Prior suffered a back spasm this morning and is currently under examination, and it’s unclear whether he will be able to play at Headingly. Selectors may well have to make a decision about Prior’s keeping position, whether they call up a specialist replacement or trust Paul Collingwood, who has turned a few tricks in the wicket keeping position in the past. If England take to the field this morning Collingwood could play as substitute keeper until a specialist arrive; the most likely candidates seem to be Time Ambrose or James Foster. The toss should be delayed by 10 minutes, following England’s requests.

With Freddie Flintoff’s omission, England selectors have already been given a difficult decision. On one side they bolster the side’s bowling attack, going for the likes of Stephen Harmison, comparable in tenacity with Flintoff; or on the other hand they could bolster the batting order with Jonathan Trott, giving him his Ashes debut. Such is the problem of replacing an all-rounder like Flintoff, however questions have been levelled at Stuart Broad’s ability to hold his place in a four-man bowling attack.

Flintoff had heavy strapping on his knee during practice where he spent 40 minutes bowling tentatively. The final decision to rule him out of the match was taken by Strauss. Strauss’s  headache wasn’t much helped by a fire alarm, which went off in the small hours this morning at the England Hotel; players were forced to wait in a torrential downpour for 20 minutes.

Are you hoping to get the chance to see some your favourite sporting athletes but don’t have the spare cash lying around? Well, then maybe you should check out one of our payday loans at www.247Moneybox.com. We offer you the chance to get cash quickly, so you don’t have to miss out on seeing your favourite sport stars. Simply fill in one of our application forms and we’ll make a decision very quickly on getting you the cash you need.

Two simple steps to save money this month

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

A wise man once said that you should look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves. Well, with this in mind, our article today will look how you can save yourself more than just pennies this month.

The first tip we advise you to follow is to literally watch your pennies; if you are being weighed down by heavy lumps of metal in your wallet or have discovered a copper mine below the cushions of your sofa, then cash in on these untapped financial resources.

You’ll be surprised at how much you can get after, say, six months. Having a mascot piggybank as a logo means we have no excuse to not have a piggybank in the office - after six months we’ve managed to accumulate nearly £60! You needn’t even have to worry about counting and bagging the coins - the emergence of machines which will give you the cash back in more useful coins and notes means that you can cash in on all your piggybanks’ savings while getting your groceries .. you could even make it a monthly event.

One way that you can actually get yourself turning over a few pounds here and there is through a few Internet sites - these sites will offer you money for simply filling in a few forms or having advertisements on your screen while browsing.

Need instant cash to cover your monthly expenses? Well, then it might be time that you considered taking out a payday loan with us here at www.247Moneybox.com. We offer people the chance to get the cash injection they need to cover their cash-flow problems and difficulties. Simply take a few minutes to fill in our application, then we will make a quick decision, and you could be getting your money as soon as possible. When it comes to paying us back we will deal with taking the money automatically out of your account so that you don’t even have that hassle.

Angry indebted customers hurl abuse at Barclays and HSBC

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Are you angered by banks’ sneaky charges and penalties? Well, then this article will be right up your street - Times online has reported two different examples where two major banks have levied unacceptable charges on some of their customers. In particular, two different types of customers - a small-business owner and a mortgage holder - have documented their terrible experiences with HSBC and Barclays.

This comes in the same week as yours truly received a £20 penalty fee for not reading the available balance and instead making the ‘huge mistake’  of spending what’s actually in his account.

Peter Reeve, 55, from Flitwick in Bedfordshire, faced ‘worry and aggravation’ when HSBC raised the interest rate on his overdrawn business account. Mr Reeve’s company would sometimes take up to 18 months to be paid for jobs and so the overdraft facility was important. Reeve switched to NatWest, but saw his personal account which he kept at HSBC face a new overdraft rate of 19.9%, up from 9.9%. He was told this was because there wasn’t enough money going into his accounts.

Surely stories like this are not what we want to hear when we need small businesses the most.

Sally Houghton got in a dispute with Barclays after she took out a mortgage with them for a new house in Bedfordshire, and she was sure she set up a mortgage protection plan. However, a year later when she was unable to work, she tried to claim for the plan, only to be told that it did not exist. Despite sending photocopies of the agreement to Barclays, it did not acknowledge the plan until this year. Ms Houghton was forced to carry on working despite her deteriorating health, and is planning legal action to claim for loss of earnings.

Are you finding that penalties are building up? Do you risk incurring steeper charges and penalties unless you pay off the fines that you are facing at the moment? Well, if this is the case then it might be time that you started considering taking out a payday loan from us here at www.247Moneybox.com and then relax knowing you have the cash to prevent your unexpected costs from increasing exponentially until you can pay.
